There are more than 40 individual shift maps to refine shift points for optimal efficiency, performance and drivability. The transmission uses shift-by-wire technology, eliminating a mechanical linkage between the transmission and the gear selector. Ram Heavy Duty uses an innovative rotary shifter mounted on the left side of the instrument-panel center stack.  The electronic 4X4 shift on the fly transfer case, Transfer Case Skid-Plate Shield, and Heavy Duty Snow Plow Prep Group enhance this RAMs capabilities.

      I've traveled the world and driven many different cars and trucks and this is THE nicest vehicle ever. Not the greatest gas mileage, but that is not why you buy the most capable off-road production vehicle in the US. My Ram 2500 Power Wagon already has all the things I would do to it - done! Front & Rear Lockers, power disconnecting front sway bar, a factory-installed 12,000 lb Warn Winch, lift, and even aftermarket Fuel wheels with 37" tires! The integrated technology is amazing with 360 degree and zoom cameras for towing and moving in tight spaces.…
